The academic year is in full swing, and the family is cruising along in our routine of school and after-school activities. The nights are getting colder, and the days shorter.

Certain songs always prompt me to proclaim, “They don’t write lyrics like that anymore.” I’m thinking of songs like “Disco Lady” (“Shake it up shake it down; move it in move it round”). “Dancing in the Moonlight” is one of those songs: “Everybody here is out of sight. They don’t bark and they don’t bite.”
