About 15 years ago, I was sitting around reading Catch a Fire, Timothy White’s biography of Bob Marley, when I noticed something–reggae legend Bob Marley shared a birthday with Ronald Reagan. Reagan was born on February 6, 1911 while Marley entered this world on the same day 1945.
Then it got really strange. I mean, not this kind of strange, but “funny” strange. Turns out Babe Ruth was born on February 6th, 1895. Acclaimed filmmaker François Truffaut was born on the same day in 1932. Rocker Axl Rose shares the day, too, born in 1962.
Coincidence you might say? Well, yes, yes it is.
