The Aztec “Whistle of Death”
This is absolutely fantastic!
A man named Roberto Velazquez–who is a mechanical engineer by trade,–has built replicas of a host of Aztec/Mexica whistles. Each is based on an actual archaeological find, though there is some variety of viewpoint on what the sounds were used for: fun, healing, or as a prequel to human sacrifice.
Visit this link right now to hear the amazing sounds that can be generated from these whistles. The first sound is from the so-called “whistle of death.” Pero, please, don’t do it alone…
Hijole! It just gave me the chills again!
I mean it, find a friend.
